How do I purchase Rental Car Protection?

During the Hotwire checkout process, you will be given the opportunity to purchase Car Rental Protection. If you choose to buy Rental Car Protection, it will be listed as a charge from Allianz Global Assistance on your credit card statement. Within 10 days of purchasing the program, Allianz Global Assistance will process a full refund of insurance premium to you, as long as you have not already departed on your trip or filed a claim. No refunds shall be paid to you after 10 days of purchasing the program. If you do not buy Rental Car Protection during the Hotwire booking process, you may still contact Allianz Global Assistance directly and get coverage up until the day before your rental car pick-up. All policy documentation will be sent directly to you from Allianz Global Assistance. All claims and questions are handled by Allianz Global Assistance.
